Shipping & Returns
All of our made-to-order garments are designed, cut, and sewn in our Tennessee studio. Our current lead time for made-to-order garments is 2-4 weeks.
Our Accessories and prints are in stock as shown on product pages and ship in 3-5 days.
Items with different lead times will ship when all order items are available to save on shipping costs.
It is our goal that you love your purchase, so feel free to contact us with any questions you have before ordering, and we’ll be happy to help! We do our best to respond within 24 hours.
Since each garment is made-to-order, we are unable to accept cancellations for refunds. If you would like to cancel an order before it ships, a store credit code for the purchase price will be issued.
In some circumstances, we can add to/combine multiple orders to save on shipping costs. To combine multiple orders, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible after placing your order.
If you’d like to make a change to your order (i.e., different size or color), we’d be happy to help. Please contact us within two weeks of placing your order, and we will process your changes within 24 hours. Keep in mind that it can take an additional 2-4 weeks to complete your updated order.
If you need to make a change to your shipping address, email us at email@example.com as soon as possible. We can change the address as long as the package has not left our building. Unfortunately, we cannot reroute a package once it has shipped.
All Domestic orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail and arrive 3-5 business days after the package is picked up. Please note that we cannot guarantee delivery dates.
Domestic shipping is calculated by the weight of the package and ranges from $5 and up.
All orders ship with delivery confirmation which, can be used to track your package. We are unable to provide tracking information beyond that supplied by the USPS.
We are not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged in transit. Please double check your billing and shipping address when placing an order, as we are unable to reroute packages.
Standard shipping does NOT include insurance.
International orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail International and arrive 7-14 days after the package is picked up for most countries but can take up to 3 weeks. Please note that we cannot guarantee delivery dates.
International shipping is a flat rate of $30.

We will not mark an item as a "gift" or reduce the stated value of the package. This is illegal, and we can be penalized heavily for doing so.
Please be aware that you may be responsible for additional customs fees charged by your local post office upon arrival in your country.
International shipments may experience unavoidable delays through customs.
Returns & Exchanges
We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If for any reason an item does not work out for you, we gladly offer returns for store credit within 14 days of receiving your package. We do not offer cash refunds at this time.
All returns must be authorized by Mae + August. To request a return, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number and a list of items you would like to return.
Store credit will be issued in the form of a digital gift card for the full value of your purchase price and will never expire. Store credit will be issued upon receipt of your return.
Please ensure returned garments are unworn and unwashed with original tags, invoice, packaging, and in good condition. Returning a damaged or visibly worn item may result in it being sent back to you and will make your store credit code invalid.
We do our best to recycle and reuse all garment boxes if possible, so please take extra care of your package, and send any item(s) back in their original packaging.
We cannot honor exchanges or refunds after four weeks. All return shipping costs are not included in the refund amount and are the responsibility of the customer.
Returns on Sale Items: We no longer accept returns on Sale Items. Exchanges for different sizes, colors, or store credit is accepted within 2 weeks after delivery of your order.
If you would like to exchange an item, you will be able to place a new order for a replacement garment upon receiving your store credit, and your replacement will be produced within our current lead time.
You will receive a shipping confirmation when it has shipped.
